Originally created to illustrate two MUD-game Characters. The green Faerie (Autum) is pretty much a self portrait. The orange one (Fire) is one of many online friends with which I share and exchange real pictures. About the technique, I use charcoal pencils to create the rough drawing first, with all its lights and shadows. Then I scan it on my computer to add just the color with Photoshop.
MUD = Multiple User Domain. Text based roleplaying games on the net where you create your own character and level up. Some of us not only play them, but also code them (wizards, or creators). The equivalent to the card RPG's "Dungeon Master" for those who play D&D. Knowledge on C++ and/or Java is needed in order to do so. Yes I'm a Geek/Nerd and proud of it. |
