Prince of Erebor Dreaming

"Tauriel put her herbs away, placing them on a nearby table and sitting next to the sleeping dwarf. She contemplated him for a moment; He looked so peacefully asleep, taking deep slow breaths that he would release with ease. 

It would be a long watch for sure, so she entertained her eyes with a detailed observation of his traits; short fat fingers, large ears, an air of mischief in his youthful handsome face, muscles well toned for a dwarf... 

The blanket only covered him from the waist and down, revealing his entire torso, with more hairs on it than beard on his face. They formed a discreet trail down his perfectly shaped abdominal area, which picked her curiosity. His dark hair was a full disarray, somehow it suited him.

She wondered why she felt so drawn to him. He was just a dwarf after all, one that has awakened all feelings of tenderness in her... "
